Minutes of the executive committee meeting of 01/02/07
Attendance: Tammy Johnson, James Napier, Larry Antonacci, Joe Jordan, Gene Johnson,
Jackie Moore, James MacDonald, Jeremy Graybill, Brandis Roman, Karen Ward, Phyllis
Johnson, Kevin Quick. Don Linden was absent.
Meeting called to order: President James MacDonald called the meeting to order at 1840
hours. President James MacDonald welcomed everyone to the meeting, new and old.
President’s Report (James MacDonald): President James MacDonald reported on the
following topics:
•
Starting January 9
th
, 2007, executive/general meeting to meet monthly instead of every
other month. An email will go out to everyone that has emails, and will also be posted in
the crew room for those who do not have email. (everyone in the meeting agreed on this
change.)
•
Sara will be taking pictures of the trucks, building, etc. for website
•
Website update: Mac, Jeremy and Brandis are working on updating squad website,
needs much improvement.
•
Mac has talked to Phyllis about ways of promoting the rescue squad. Mac and Karen
have also discussed ways to promote and will form a committee.
•
Thanks Joe for personnel meeting
•
Announced Phyllis and Kim are in charge of room rental.
•
Saturday night coverage: Sunday (day crew) and Friday night crew are willing to help fill
Saturday night coverage. Mac will make a schedule and post.
Vice President’s Report (Jeremy Graybill): no report
Secretary’s Report (Karen Ward): no report
Treasurer’s Report (Brandis Roman):
Board of Directors report (Kevin Quick, Phyllis Johnson and Linda Lloyd): Kevin reported
on the following topics:
•
Involvement that the board had in the past and would like to improve that, by getting
more involved in new ideas in operations

Report by Chief RC 7-1 (James Napier): no report
Report by Chief RC 7-2 (Larry Antonacci):
•
New 707 has been ordered. Tammy and Larry will be going to NC in February to go over
truck. Project completion is possible April. Old 707 will be donated to a very needy
organization in NC (as is).
•
New 707 will have climate-controlled drug boxes
•
Pagers: Larry ordered 5 new pagers for duty officers, should arrive 2
nd
week of January
•
HP Color Printer: Larry purchased a color printer that will copy, fax and scan for back
office. Spare cartridges also.
•
Floors in bad will be cleaned and sealed
•
ABC extinguishers. All fire extinguishers have been checked
•
706 is first due for January
Report by Chief RC 7-3 (Joe Jordan):
•
Assigning Crew Chiefs: Friday night crew will be Ricky Ward. Sunday day crew will be
Willie Morris. Joe is looking into the other night crews to see if there is a need to assign
a crew chief.
Report by Chief RC 7-4 (Gene Johnson):
•
Will be working closely with Larry and if anyone needs anything to please come see him.
Old Business: none
New Business: no new business came before the meeting
Motion for Adjournment: Mr. Moore made a motion for adjournment. The motion was carried
by the membership, and the meeting was adjourned at 1952 hours.
