Minutes of the executive committee meeting of 06/06/07

Attendance: Tammy Johnson, Joe Jordan, Gene Johnson, James MacDonald, Jeremy

Graybill, Brandis Roman, Karen Ward, Linda Lloyd, and Francis Moore.

Absent: James Napier, Phyllis Johnson, Larry Antonacci, Kevin Quick, and Don Linden

Meeting called to order: President James MacDonald called the meeting to order at

1856 hours.

President’s Report (James MacDonald): President James MacDonald reported on

the following topics:

•

Reminder that Tammy and Mac are on the Revenue Recovery Board and will

keep everyone updated.

•

Nancy and Rodney’s certificates are in.

Vice President’s Report (Jeremy Graybill): no report

Secretary’s Report (Karen Ward): no report

Treasurer’s Report (Brandis Roman): no report

Board of Directors report (Kevin Quick, Phyllis Johnson and Linda Lloyd): no

report

Report by Chief RC7 (Tammy Johnson): Chief Tammy Johnson reported on the

following topics:

•

Preliminary Budget for 2007-2008 was copied and handout out to the executive

members. Budget is on target for this year. Tammy discussed each topic on the

budget with explanations. The executive committee voted on the budget for

2007-2008 and was approved.

•

Tammy updated everyone on the progress of new 707. Truck is in production,

should be ready by June 21

st

for pickup and then the truck has to be stocked,

inspected, etc. Should be ready for service by end of July, 1

st

of August. If the

truck is later than planned, Tammy arranged that if truck is not ready on time that

a $150 credit a day be taken off the purchase of the truck.

•

Truck 705 is still having mechanical difficulties. A loaner truck from NC will be

picked up by Tammy. Tammy is looking into replacing 705 with the

documentation of all issues since it’s return.

•

Tammy stated we will not be participating in parades this year due to lack of

participation from members.

•

Bylaws were handed out. Article III and IV were discussed and suggestions

made. Mac will update and email executive committee to review.

Joe reminded everyone about the bridge on Jefferson Mill Road

Report by Chief RC 7-4 (Gene Johnson):

705 will be back tomorrow

•

Gene asked that the stretchers stay in the trucks and not in the middle of the

bays, hard to load by yourself.

New Business: no new business came before the meeting.

Motion for Adjournment: The motion was carried by the membership and the meeting

was adjourned at 2053 hours.
