Minutes of the executive committee meeting of 11/04/07
Attendance: Tammy Johnson, Linda Lloyd, Karen Ward, Brandis Roman, Francis Moore, Gene
Johnson, Phyllis Johnson, Kevin Quick and Rita Krenz.
Absent from meeting: Jeremy Graybill, James Napier, and Larry Antonacci
Meeting called to order by Chief Tammy Johnson at 18:42pm.
Report by Chief RC 7 (Tammy Johnson):
Membership:
o
Damien Farmer- returning to Full status.
o
Stacey Maddox- taking Assoc. status, unsure what night running.
o
Rodney Hammack - probation complete, ready for approval for Assoc.
status by Executive Committee.
o
Kyle Ronn- enrolled in EMT class, needs driving and background check
done.
o
Audrey Reed- reinstate as a candidate for Assoc. membership 4/3/07,
All ride alongs complete, need formal vote for Assoc. membership.
o
James Halfaday- application for full member, current member of Station 8,
enrolled in EMT class, already has EVOC certifications.
o
Don Linden- request to move to Assoc. status.
Number of Associate Members:
o
Should we limit the number of Assoc. members we have at one time.
o
Assignments of Assoc. members.
Nominations:
o
Nominations for upcoming year will be posted.
o
1 – BOD position for 1 year to complete Don’s seat
Building Phone Issue:
o
Charges incurred so far
o
Current status of system – Chief Antonacci will elaborate.

Estimated replacement phone system for building $7,500.

Request to BOD to upgrade system. Agreed.
Symposium:
o
All rooms have been assigned and paid for.
o
All participants have been given food stipends along w/forms
o
Will get reimbursement for 3 r4ooms from CFD.
Audit:
o
FY ’06 and FY ’07 have been completed and turned into ACFR.
o
Minors issues that have already been resolved with the transition to current
Accountant and a couple left to do that are in the works.
Photo Fund Drive Issue:
o
Complaint received. Suggestion of an apology letter to gentleman and copy
to Chief Tammy Johnson.
Budget Review:
o

Fluvanna FY ’09 budget request
